The Origins of Nike
At first, the company sold products from ASICS, known at the time as Onitsuka Co. Ltd. Phil Knight was the ASICS importer in the United States.
One day, the two sides failed to reach an agreement on the transit of goods, which led to a split between the companies and marked the real beginning of Nike.

How do you choose your Nike shoe size?
Nike uses US sizing, with conversion to European (EU) sizes and to centimeters. The fit depends on the model: the Air Force 1 is usually a bit roomier, so some people go half a size down, while the Dunk Low has a narrower forefoot. Women's (W) and kids' (GS, PS, TD) sizes convert differently than men's, so the safest approach is to compare your insole length in centimeters.
