What is the Off-White brand?
Before Off-White was founded in 2012, Virgil Abloh ran the PYREX VISION brand and was Kanye West’s creative director. His revolution has since gained incredible momentum. He has always uused Instagram as a platform to communicate his ideas and creations to share them with the streetwear community.
His aesthetics and designs which consist of full lines of men’s and women’s clothing and accessories strike mainly at millenials.
Off-White’s collaborations with Nike
The Off-White brand has had many collaborations with Nike. The most famous one titled “The Ten” is a reconstruction of 10 top Nike models anew, through the visions of Virgil Abloh. The collection includes the Jordan 1, Blazer, Air Max 90, Air Force 1, Chuck Taylor, Zoom Fly, Air Max 97, Vapormax, Presto and React Hyperdunk models.
Of course, this was only the beginning. Over the next few years, other colorways of models such as the Air Force 1 MOMA and Volt appeared. Additionally, the Air Jordan 4 Sail x Off-White colorway is one of the most coveted shoes of all time.
Virgil Abloh, the all-around man
Since we’re on the subject of Off-White, it’s now time for some achievements from the life of the late Virgil Abloh.
