Nike Cortez Shoes
If you’re looking for timeless sneakers that have been tested for a long time, the Nike Cortez is definitely the right choice.
They were first introduced in 1972 and have since become a staple of Nike’s running shoe line, and beyond! They quickly gained popularity for their lightweight and comfortable nature. This would not have been possible without the ingenuity of Bill Bowerman, a trainer at the University of Oregon, who collaborated with Phil Knight to design a lightweight running shoe with a rubber sole instead of the heavier leather that was standard at the time.
Tradition and Pride
In addition to the “traditional” designs with two colors (one for the shoe and one for the Nike symbol), you can also find some more colorful pairs, with drawings or sentences on them. Which one will be yours?
