When did the Air Jordan 1 Low model appear?
The Air Jordan 1 Low is a lifestyle sneaker from Brand Jordan, a subsidiary of Nike, Inc. It debuted in 1985 and was a model that was mapped to the classic Air Jordan 1 High only in a Low version.
What shoes resemble the Air Jordan 1 Low?
At first glance, the shoes resemble the Nike Dunk Low, which has been extremely popular since 2019. Both models are rooted in basketball and were designed by Peter Moore. The Air Jordan 1 Low has also historically boasted many bold, colorful, fun themes and experimental designs.
Great collaborations in the Air Jordan 1 Low
Despite the launch of this shoe in 1985 with the creation of the Air Jordan line, the sneakers have since largely deviated from their original design. The Nike Air branding on the tongue was commonly replaced by the Jumpman logo, and the embossed insignia on the side of the shoe was moved to the back. There have also been Jordan brand collaborations on the Low model along with Travis Scott and the Dior brand.
